Overview

Media modules are fixed viewports for media such as static imagery or motion graphics.

Use of this pattern

• Media boxes are fixed to the ratio of 16:9.
• Do not use video until you have clear user evidence that the topic is easier to understand using moving images.

How it works

• Imagery or motion graphics that are not set to this format will be letter-boxed into the 16:9 module box.
• If you decide to use a video, ensure that you have a transcript available for people who cannot view moving images.
