Overview

List copy styles are defined by the body copy they are nested in. Lists show the user an easier format to digest content either in bullet points or numbered steps.

Use of this pattern

• Use Numbered lists to illustrate an ordered process of steps and bullet points to illustrate an un-ordered list.

How it works

• List items start with a Uppercase letter and always finish with a full stop period at the end.
• Use numbered steps instead of bullet points to guide a user through a process.
• Sub-items can be created with numbers and bullets and need an indent of 2 spaces.
• Sub bullets use hollow bullets for differentiation and sub numbered lists use lowercase letters.
