Hi there


👨‍💻 About Me :

My name is Nikolaev Yaroslav and I'm a third-year student of MIPT at the Department of Problems of Information Transmission and Data Analysis. My GPA in mathematical disciplines is 8.8/10, in CS disciplines - is 10/10.

To enter the department, I was implementing and researching a color correction algorithm using root polynomial regression (according to the article https://doi.org/10.1109/TIP.2015.2405336). You can see it in this repository.

Also in my department I researched image segmantation and binarization. This repo is https://github.com/yavnolib/granulometry.

At the moment, together with the team, we participated in the following hackathons:

  • (ML) Leaders of Digital International competition (Цифровой прорыв.Международный этап) - 🥈 2nd place. (autumn 2023) - Processing citizens' appeals (backend + frontend + NER model + three classification models (F1-weighted score is 0.68, best - 0.73)) - repository
  • (ML) Joint hackathon Sberbank and MIPT - 🥈 2nd place. (autumn 2023) - Image segmentation - repository is private
  • (ML) Joint hackathon Sberbank and MIPT - 🥈 2nd place. (spring 2023) - Fraudulent audio detection - repository
