Player cannot loop smoothly through a video

Describe the bug
I chose a video file as my wallpaper. When the video was over, the wallpaper would have a very short black flash before replaying the video. It didn't seem to loop smoothly through the video.

Expected behavior
Able to segue smoothly into the beginning at the end of the video without any black flash and pause.

Desktop:

• OS: Microsoft Windows 11 家庭中文版 10.0.26120
• CPU: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700H
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU
• GPU: Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics

What video player are you using? For me, this only happens when using the VLC player.

This also depends on the video file codec and system configuration.

I would try verifying with different video file.

I'm using MPV Player, the video format is mp4.
But after choosing a different video file, the problem doesn't recur. That's weird, 'cause both videos are the same format codec (mp4)

MP4 is the container, not the codec. Open the file in MPV (or another video player) and look for information about the video stream and audio stream(s). In MPV, this can be found under Play -> Video track. It will say something like "V: h264 high L4.1, yuv420p, 1920x1080, 3500kb/s". The first word after V: (h264 in my example) is the video codec. For best results, make sure the video is encoded in H.264 and the audio in AAC.
