Window auto-alignment/snap/magnet to other windows and screen edges

When window is moved or resized, the edge should auto-align/snap when it gets within X pixels of an existing window or screen edge.

Edit: To clarify, I'm talking about snapping capability like the old "AllSnap" program. This has nothing to do with layouts or window management.

Exactly this. I have 2 portrait/vertical monitors that I'd love to split the top half and the bottom half.

For additional layout options, I recommend following #5.

+1 for this feature. I used to use AquaSnap a lot before, but with all the new window features for Win 11 and Fancy Zones, its not so usefull anymore. Only thing I really miss from AquaSnap is the AquaMagnet, which would be an awesome addition to powertoys.

I was surprised to find that the app does not have a 'Magnetic Edges' functionality. It would indeed be a very useful addition.
It's a base functionality of other UI-enhancers.

Does Aquasnap pay Powertoys to prevent this magnetic snap functionality from being introduced? PowerToys countlessly adds endless other new things that nobody ever heard of, never mind needs — yet they keep being silent on this AquaSnap's AquaMagnet type feature of snapping a window to another window and the edges of screens (without resizing the windows in the process as in FancyZones or Microsoft's default Multitask). A feature that has been requested for half a decade now.

Magnet-like snap is basic stuff that is found on every Apple Mac and Linux. Problem with the PC program Aquasnap is you can't use it on secondary / multiple monitors.

As the original requester for this feature, AquaSnap is a good product and worth every penny if you're interested in this type of feature. It would be nice if PowerToys had it, but it's also worth supporting a developer who has already implemented this in a product. I use AquaSnap across three monitors every day, so not sure what you mean by that being a limitation.
There's really no need for accusations of some kind of conspiracy.
