👋 Hello everyone!
🇦🇷 My name is Melisa Di Giacomo and I am from Argentina. I have a job as a BI analyst working on Qlik. I have a MSc in Biotechnology and a PhD at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario.
💻 My areas of strength include data visualization and data analysis. I have skills in R, Python, SQL and spreadsheets to extract insights from complex datasets, and also in using Looker, PowerBI and Tableau to create visually compelling and interactive dashboards. I am now gaining experience in Qlik in my new job.
❤️ I am passionate about data viz. It is a fact that the right charts and reports make a huge impact on decision making and future results. I like to think myself as a designer of information. Recently I have developed an R data viz cheatsheet website where I described and shared R codes of more than 30 types of plots. I participated in the Twitter #30daychartchallenge where I built 30 charts using different datasets each day and a variety of tools.
🌐 I took my first steps in the Full Stack Web Dev </>. As a final project of a bootcamp I've developed my web portfolio from scratch using plain HTML, CSS and JS, showcasing my skills in data visualization on the web.
💫 I am always learning something!
