Video Editing Engine(VEE) is a simple GUI-less video editor that aims for a clean API and ease of use and embeddability. VEE’s development started as a part of former Helsinki Polytechnic Stadia’s research and development project that attemps to produce completely open source video editor for the web.

Currently VEE’s code base is not very Ruby-ish but it will be refactored to follow Ruby’s coding conventions during the coming weeks. Also coming is the full documentation for the API, XML -project files and everything else.
