WinSavage

Windows "port" of Savage Quest, 1999 arcade title by Angel Studios.

Setting up

• Download Savage Quest v0.92 (May 13 1999).
• Extract CHD archive and contained FAT32 image using chdman (extracthd) and 7-Zip.
• Place WinSavage files to SQ05\SQ\BIN.
• Configure display settings in dgVoodooCpl.exe.
• If not having an XInput controller, use x360ce.
• Launch winsavage.exe.

XInput controls

• Movement: left thumbstick
• Bite: A
• Charge: X
• Roar: Y
• Start

Keyboard controls

• Return to attract screen: F7
• Move forward: 0
• Start: 1
• Roar: backspace
• Switch to point: CTRL + [number]
• Switch to level: SHIFT + [number]
