Cannot save QR code to contacts: says no contact app is installed

When scanning a contact QR core and selecting to save it an error message is displayed saying no contacts app was found. The contacts app is installed and is the default for the OnePlus Nord phone and works with other QR code scanning apps such as the Barcode Scanner by the ZXing Team. A similar issue is also mentioned in issue #129

Same here, the message says "no app found for this action".
Device : Fairphone 2
OS : /e/OS 1.1 (based on Android 11)
App version : 1.10

Works with another app : QR Scanner by SECUSO
