Font Name (Geist Sans/Geist Mono):

  • Geist Sans
  • Geist Mono

Description of the Issue:
Both Geist fonts don't have italics.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Install every Geist or Geist Mono font
  2. Open, for example, Word, set font to Geist/Geist Mono, then try to activate italic
  3. You'll see a faux italic instead of a proper italic

Expected Behavior:
It should display a proper italic

  • Every app/OS display this issue, as this is font software-level
