There's a non-MetrixHD style dot status icon in addition to the MetrixHD tick/cross icon.

The dots don't always appear (eg. when one interface is not enabled).

The dot is the default interface indicator.
You should normally have one default interface.

I've observed that the dot is green, albeit faded. TBH it's confusing having two icons (a tick and a dot).
The 3D dot/LED icon also doesn't match the flat style of MetrixHD

May I suggest a tri-state tick/X instead?

  • red X: interface disabled
  • bright green tick: enabled, default
  • faded green tick (currently-used): enabled, non-default

Furthermore, if a user opts NOT to disable the other/second interface, they should be prompted whether they want to set this one as default.

This needs to be done in the Network Settings and WARNING!!!
If we change the code we will break all skins.
