ℹ Computer information

  • PowerToys version: 0.23.2
  • PowerToy Utility: All
  • Running PowerToys as Admin: Yes
  • Windows build number: 2004 (build 19041.508)

📝 Provide detailed reproduction steps (if any)

First, I have a 3 monitor setup.

The bottom right is set as the main, and this issue doesn't seem to happen on the main display.
I have confirmed by changing around the main display settings that this bug is only apparent in the extended displays.

  1. Have both ShareX and PowerToys Installed.
  2. Try taking a screenshot with ShareX
  3. The capture window will look funny.

✔️ Expected result

Work normally as like when using ShareX without PowerToys.

❌ Actual result

Strange shifting of the whole capture section.

I am not sure if this is an issues that can be fixed on your end or if this has to be taken up with ShareX bug reports too.
Advise me please.

Thank you.

Upon further investigation, this issue only happens when FancyZones is enabled.

This was referenced in #531. Believe the solution is to exclude sharex.

We should update https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/wiki/Application-Compatibility

Excluding ShareX seems to have fixed the issue.
