FancyZones: applications not compatible with shift-drag [issues tracker] #1289

Apologies if this is the wrong place for this but I've got another application that doesn't work with shift+drag: PTC Creo Parametric 6 |

I can drag the window and use the Windows key shortcuts to move the application but it won't snap to any FancyZones. |

Not sure if this is already known in another issue report, but I just found out that some (all?) Windows Management utilities don't respond to Shift+Drag:

Encountered another issue with pop out windows of the Spyder Variable Explorer, which does snap to the screen borders with normal drag, but does not listen to the Shift+drag Fancyzones. |

Hi folks, I wanted to confirm the admin update fixed all versions of Creo Parametric I have tested. Thanks for the fix. |
At present the listed apps can't be fixed or have been fixed. Closing the issue. |
FYI: If not running PT as Administrator, these apps, when opened, crash the Fancy Zones functionality completely. |
Some applications, for different reasons, are not compatible with shift-drag, but they work just fine when shift is not required to activate zones.
We may consider adding a setting to configure the default modifier to another key.
