All in all, I am pretty impressed! I play chess myself and I nearly got beaten by this thing on looking 4 moves ahead. Unfortunately though it does a poor job staying out of trouble. It looks four moves ahead and then makes a move that will keep it a pawn ahead for four moves before it gets a knight unavoidably taken. If you insert some manual code that makes your bot more defensive it might be better.
