When I used Turndown, something I wanted from the documentation was a comparison with Pandoc. Pandoc must be the go-to program for converting HTML to Markdown on the command line. It would be useful if HTMD had this documentation. It might even help Pandoc users looking into Turndown if HTMD is near-identical.
Maybe you could compare HTMD's and Pandoc's output on the test cases? I am not sure which Pandoc output format would be the closest to HTMD. Possibly commonmark.
Cool project BTW. :-)

Thanks again for the suggestion! I haven't used Pandoc, but it looks interesting and seems to be a large project, so I might need some time to look into it.
I'm open to it, but I'm not sure if it will be out anytime soon.
