Checklist

  • I have updated to the latest available Home Assistant version.
  • I have cleared the cache of my browser.
  • I have tried a different browser to see if it is related to my browser.
  • I have tried reproducing the issue in safe mode to rule out problems with unsupported custom resources.

Describe the issue you are experiencing

A checkbox is clicked to apply a filter by area. The results have changed to reflect the area which was selected, but the checkbox appears to not have been checked to indicate the filter is being applied. The box background stays dark grey as when a mouse button is held down until clicking again somewhere. Clicking the same box again will correct the visual error and the results stay the same (which is correct). Applies to applying a filter as well removing a filter. Sometimes it happens as soon as the 3rd area selected, but it can take as many as 8 or 10 before the error appears.

  • Tested on automations and scripts dashboard, both show same behavior.
  • Originally noticed with areas filter,
  • Noticed similar behavior with the blueprints filter, but a flickering checkbox is present instead of not applying the change. If left untouched it seems to apply/remove the filter a couple times (appropriate automations are shown/hidden while checkbox continues to flicker). Clear all filter button doesn't work.

Describe the behavior you expected

Area filter checkbox should change state on each click to indicate what is/is not applied.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Open /config/automation/dashboard
  2. Select multiple area filters (or apply/remove the same filter multiple times)
