Functionality to generate git statistics on commits, issues and pull requests of a repository using GitHub's GraphQL API, as well as citation statistics through the NASA ADS publication database using its API.
Produces an image summarizing statistics suitable for a GitHub README, and images of plots showing statistics suitable for documentation.
Written for repositories in The Astropy Project, but also generalizable.
