SUMMARY

The ingress controller profile in the playbook which deploys ARO is configured as a list. Is this necessary? The API server is not configured this way. In addition the ingress controller but have its name set to "default". Since this is the only acceptable value, can this be hard coded into the module?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
      ingress_profiles:
        - name: "default"
          visibility: "{{ privacy_ingress }}"

vs API server:
      api_server_profile:
        visibility: "{{ privacy_api }}"
EXPECTED RESULTS

Is it necessary for the ingress profile to be a list, and since the value of "default" is mandatory, can this be hard-coded in the module so it does not need to be listed in the task as a parameter?

ACTUAL RESULTS
      ingress_profiles:
          visibility: "{{ privacy_ingress }}"

hardcode ingress profile name has been implemented in new azcollection release v1.2.0, the latest one. @stuartatmicrosoft you can install it and have a try

@haiyuazhang I have verified that the 'name: default' parameter can be removed. However, the data is still a list:

  ingress_profiles:
    - visibility: "{{ privacy_ingress }}"

as opposed to:

  api_server_profile:
    visibility: "{{ privacy_api }}"

Must the values for ingress profiles be a list?

In addition @Fred-sun , is it possible to remove the requirement to specify the name of the worker profile?

  worker_profiles:
    - name: "worker"
      vm_size : "foo"
      subnet_id: "foo"

to

  worker_profiles:
    - vm_size : "foo"
      subnet_id: "foo"

or ideally

  worker_profiles:
      vm_size : "foo"
      subnet_id: "foo"

@stuartatmicrosoft This property cannot be changed because ingress_profiles are defined in the SDK as a list, and worker_profiles also have a 'name' property. Thank you very much!
