Frequently Asked Questions

Q: "I'm using the Downloaded Build, the Engine can't find a specific file!"

A: Make sure you've put the file inside mods/, not assets/

Q: "How do i make a Custom Character?"

A: Read this.

Q: "Where do i save Menu Characters?"

A: You have to drop the Menu Character's .JSON, .PNG and .XML on mods/images/menucharacters/

If the folder doesn't exist, you can create it.

Q: "Where do i save Weeks?"

A: On mods/weeks/, the week's story mode name icon goes in mods/images/storymenu/ and custom backgrounds go in mods/images/menubackgrounds/

Q: "Where do i save Dialogue Portraits?"

A: You have to drop the Dialogue Portrait's .JSON, .PNG and .XML on mods/images/dialogues/

Q: "Where do i save my custom Dialogue? And how do i make it play on a Song??"

A: Save it inside the song's charts folder, you can edit the Dialogue script example for running on your song.
