PMC is not responding while image search

I used a short macro for 2 months now. Since a week the same macro won't work because the software is not responding while image search.
Before the failure it works perfectly, i choose the "play sound-option" when the image can't be found. The sound was every second if the window was not open, now the "beep" takes 2-3min but it finally works.

I uninstalled PMC 3 times now with program to delete everything and tried 64bit and 32bit version but the issue is still there.
The issue is just while image search, other steps work as before. I use the actual PMC Version 5.4.0.

CPU and RAM are normal while failure. I did not change anything in the macro, the program or my pc.
Any idea what the cause can be?
