Facing issue to add fine code coverage in VS 2022 professional

Please send me complete guide to use this. I am having VS 2022 professional. when try to install this I am getting following issue attached in files

Looks like you are installing the 2019 vsix. Install the 2022 vsix and ensure VS is at 17.10

I am stuck at one place. I am adding attribute as following

Does this work on method as well? or only on classes?
I am adding on a method from class like following still FCC considering it while calculating code coverage

Should work on methods. What is the namespace of the attribute class ? Have you set the option for ms code coverage or not ?

@tonyhallett I have set the attribute only in Fine Code Coverage not in ms code coverage. I will set up in ms code coverage and check again. If you any example for setting attribute in ms code coverage, it will be great if you can share that.

Have you set the FCC option RunMsCodeCoverage to Yes ? What is the namespace of the ExcludeFromCodeCoverage attribute class ?

FCC readme states

You can ignore a method or an entire class from code coverage by applying the [ExcludeFromCodeCoverage] attribute present in the System.Diagnostics.CodeAnalysis namespace.

If you are not using the attribute from that namespace then, if you are using ms code coverage, then you need to use a regex on the attribute full name as per the AttributesExclude visual studio option description.

Ms code coverage provides defaults that are merged with settings that you provide in runsettings or that are provided by FCC.
The Microsoft.CodeCoverage.Core.dll has the resource Microsoft.CodeCoverage.Core.Configurations.DefaultCodeCoverageConfig.xml
